I am fascinated by the endless possibilities that can be created through color, form, light, texture, heat and gravity when working with glass. Each piece of my work is hand cut from compatible glass, fused in the kiln at approximately 1450 degrees F and coldworked to obtain the desired finish.  Works requiring form or dimension are returned to the kiln for a second firing at approximately 1200 degrees F to allow the glass to slump into a mold and morph into the desired shape.  Many of my pieces have been fired three or four times.  All functional pieces are food safe and should be hand washed.

I have created a line of white pieces that are available exclusively at the beautiful White Flowers Gallery in Homewood. You may also find my work at A'mano in Mountain Brook Vilage. Please stop by and enjoy!

From painting to collecting, art has always been an important part of my life. I have been working in kiln formed glass since 2010 and I am inspired by nature, art and the urban environment.
